I work as a catalyst to corporate branding and innovations processes, helping companies to find their own solutions.
In 2002, I decided to start my own company founded on more than 20 years experience in the international marketing & communications industry.
The first thing I did was to talk to my potential clients, who told me categorically that the last thing they needed was another consultant telling them how to do things.
Instead they wanted someone to guide and inspire them through their own processes - helping to put their own experience to work. They wanted a 'devil's advocate' to provoke new thinking. Above all, they wanted to feel real ownership for their own solutions.
So I took their advice - and swapped the role of a consultant for that of a catalyst.
I'm originally from the UK, but have been living in Copenhagen for 22 years before moving back to London in 2017. So it's hardly surprising that my client portfolio includes many leading Nordic-International companies. My experience has been gained from facilitating a number of high-profile projects, including corporate branding exercises with Novo Nordisk, Maersk, Hempel and Coloplast, as well as innovation programmes for Oticon and Novozymes. Recently, I've been spending a lot of time catalysing inclusive processes to uncover the Purpose of companies like Sweden's AAK.
I'm honoured that several of the projects I've helped to catalyse have since become Harvard business cases.
